The last time I've used my cruise control was last year and it worked just fine. But just recently, I tried it and it didn't work as I was traveling out of town.

When I pressed down the cruise control button the green light lits up, but the light is it's not displaying the cruise control on the speedometer.

What could the problem with this issue? Let me know...

Hi mickeytl,

Thank you for the donation.

There are quite a number of possibilities and the most common fault would be a bad brake switch or its stopper causing excessive clearqancew between the brake pedal and switch.

Brake switch consists of 2 different circuits. Check if there is excessive clearance. You can test cruise control by inserting a thin cardboard between the switch and stopper.

I tested all the fuse with the tester and their all good. I believe that I'm not getting any power going into the cruise actuator. So, I'm not quite sure what to do next. Also, where is the location, so that I can perform the cardboard test between the switch and the stopper? Let me know...

I do not have the brake switch diagram. Here is the diagram for a clutch switch. Brake switch is next to it.

Alternatively you can try adjusting the brake waitch. Here are the procedures. Loosen lock nut of brake switch, screw in brakelight switch until plunger is fully pressed (threaded end touching pad on pedal arm). Back off switch 1/2 turn and tighten lock nut firmly. Ensure brakelights work when brake pedal is pressed. .
