My Acura Legend is consistently running hot. I recently over-heated during a 12 hour drive on the highway (radiator was empty, but overflow was full due to damaged hose – had that replaced).
Daily I have to top off the radiator and re-fill the overflow. After driving a few minutes, the car runs hot. There’s not a major leak, but there are small amounts of fluid underneath the car (a few feet from the front - not right underneath the radiator).
People are saying water pump, thermostat, or perhaps just a hose. Any suggestions?
Another problem is that it just didn’t start the other day. After a jump, it worked right away but then was dead the next day. I took out the battery, put it back in, and it started right away. A separate issue or related to the cooling problem?
Thanks so much for any help.
