This can be repaired with a thread re coil repair, these kits are expensive to purchase as a one off repair, i would check local mechanics to see if they can do this for you, otherwise you will have to buy the full repair kit, this will have the special tap, re coil threads, inserting tool, you will have to drill out the old thread over size the kit will advise which drill to use.
