When I turn the lights on to the parking light position, everything works fine. When I change the position to full lights, my instrument lights in the dash and my tail lights do not work. I can nudge the position back to slightly in between the two positions and get weak, but workable, tail and instrument lights. What do you believe might be the problem?

Without looking at the car,my best guess would be that it's a bad headlight switch. Here is a guide t help test the switch with the tail light wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works, also there is a tail light relay that needs to be checked.

and

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Electrical problem

replaced all fuses, but have no tail lights. Brake lights, turn signals and backup lights all work. just no marker lights. Is there a relay somewhere that I am missing?

Hi aiob15,

Yes, they could be related.

Check the taillight fuse and also the license plate light bulb installation for possible shortings.
