When I turn off the wipers, I can manually move the wiper arms quite a bit. I cant do that on other cars, so I think there is something wrong there.

When I turn on the wipers, one blade hits the bottom of the second one. At one point, the blade came close while I was driving and I had to manually tie it up before driving over to a store and replacing the blade.

Hi vpaa,

Check the wiper arm holding nut. If it is loose, it can cause the arm to slip and go out of sync with the other arm.

The other possibility is a bad wiper link assy and thi would require the link assy to be replaced.
