i've got an 98 integra gsr it has 151,000 n it's started to burn oil it goes trough a quart in 2 weeks.. one of the good things is that i got the car for free too. i would like to get some help in figuering out what could be the problem..

Hi there,

A wet and dry compression test will give you a fair indication as to ring condition, do the dry test first and note the readings, then add a small amount of oil to the cylinders do this one at a time checking compressions as you go, the oil will temp seal up faulty rings and the comp will increase, if the comp is still low, it will be a valve problem, start here.
