Engine Mechanical problem

i have a Honda civic with the engine of an Acura 1997. When i turn the car on a lot of white smoke comes out of the exhaust i was thinking it was the oil so i changed it but it still throws a lot of white smoke i was thinking it was a blown head gasket but coolant is in the same spot in the radiator and i know if its white smoke it may be water leak in the engine but i wasn't sure. do you know what it can be ?
