Electrical problem

I have the factory stereo still installed and Iam getting a weird message across the front of it when I insert any kind of cd! and if the cd works in the unit after installing it 6 times every bump I go over or anything of that sort It ruins my cd. I curretly needed new motor mounts because my motor is shifting would that have anything to do with my stereo issue? Should I purchase an aftermarket stereo to install to see if I have the same issue with it?
