I recently changed my timing belt a few weeks back. Everything seems okay, the car drives without hesitation or anything like that (its a 1995 Integra LS 3 door automatic transmission). I've driven it over 1,000 miles since the belt change without any issues.
However, I notice that when I open the hood and "by hand" rev the throttle and then let go of it, when it stops revving and idles, the engine moves/hesitate/shakes a little bit...not much but you can tell. When the car is idling, its pretty smooth but once every few seconds, it hits a tiny-tiny rough spot. Not sure...but am I a teeth off the Top Dead Center mark on the crank, intake and exhaust? I know I lined everything up before I put back everything.
Maybe the car idles that way since it is13 years old....
Additionally, when I changed the belt, I also flush the power steering belt at the same time. After putting everything back together and starting the car, the idle drop and car almost feel like it was about to die when I turn all the way to the left or right, but I adjusted the idle adjustment screw and now the idle is normal (750 RPM) as per the oem Acura Integra repair manual. Not sure if this is related to the tiny rough idle issue I'm concern with.
