I HAVE A 95 INTEGRA AND IT JUST RECENTLY STARTED TO MAKE A NOISE WHEN I TURN THE CAR AND TRY TO GO A LOUD NOISE THAT WAS NOT THERE BEFORE.
IT SEEMS TO BE A EXHAUST PROBLEM IT HAPPENS SOMETIMES AND ONLY FOR THE FIRST 3 GEARS IT APPEARS. ALSO WHEN I LEAVE IT ON PARK TO HEAT UP IT HAS A LESS TENDENCY OF DOING IT.
ANY IDEA???
THANKS!

I agree with you. It sounds like an exhaust leak. Chances are the muffler has a hole in it. The only way to check is to get under the car (making sure it is in park and the park brake is securely set) and check for evidence of rust or black marks on the outside of the system. THe black marks will indicate carbon from the engine coming from a leak.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Based on your original posting I would say exhaust. Based on this, it could deal with the catylatic converter or an oxygen sensor. Both are part of the exhaust system / emission system.

Here is what I recommend. Take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. If the light is on, there will be a code stored which will lead us to the problem. Also, most parts stores will scan it for free, so there is no money out of pocket for you.

Have that done and let me know what you find.
