Can someone validate my (supposed car expert) friend’s statement that there is a way to short the battery, fuel pump, and ECU through the Main Relay for the ’92 Integra so that it will start the engine indefinitely?

Also, if someone can school me on what a jumper wire is, what it does, what it’s used for, how it’s used, and (supposedly) how to make one?

I know they sell them at Autozone type stores, but I would like information on how to make one. Are they safe to use?

Hi Eyez,

A jumper wire is a something you use to bridge two points so that contnuity is achieved. It can be anything from a short piece of wire, a paper clip or anything that can be used as a bridge between 2 points.

Depending on the purpose of the jumper, if it is a high risk connection that you wish to use it for, a fue in between would be recommended.

As to the part about shorting the PGM-FI mainrelay, I am not sure of the term indefinitely. If you mean bypassing the relay, it would depend on what you want to do.
