Hello

I read over your other thread about this issue and saw that you stated when you wiggle a switch it corrects the problem, yes? Which switch are you wiggling when this occurs? The headlamp switch? If so then it must be faulty wiring somewhere to that switch if you say you already replaced it.

It's the multifunction switch which controls everything, turn signals, and headlights.I did notice that the switch corrected one problem I don't have to wiggle switch to get to work right with the headlights on.But when I turn the headlights off everythings messed up.It's like the hazards are wired with the turn signal switch. If you turn on the left turn signal the left and right flash at the same time. And vise versa. The other thing is the hazard switch doesn't do anything.I've tried the relays, checked all the wires nothing. The wires aren't spliced, but some idiot tried to hook up an alarm system and basically spliced into the turn signals. The wires are not cut in two,but just a small portion of coating is off so they can put their stupid alarm system in.I took out the alarm and taped the wires up.So I don't know what's the problem.I was told oh it's the switch.$100 down the drain nothing.I hope you have some answers for me.

This really sounds more like a faulty wiring issue more than a component failure. This is going to take a lot of wiring inspection to find the solution I do believe. Is there anyway you can contact the previous owner?? Perhaps they can tell you if they had this problem prior to installing the alarm system or if this occured after installing it? That would tell you for certain that it is indeed in the wiring somewhere, problem is finding out where exactly.

I asked the guy who I bought it off of and he said he didn't have any problems.I would like to know how to fix this, cause I want to drive it.Does it make a diffrence what kind of bulbs are in it?The turn signals I'm having problems with is the side marker turn signals. Not the ones in the bumper.

So the signals in the bumper are working properly then?

You do have a wiring issue here. The $100 spent was able to rectify the wiggling problem which indicated the switch was on its way out.

Just to understand the problem I would like to clarify the following.

1. All turn signal lights bulbs, including meter cluster indicators, works correctly when hazard switch is turned on?

2. Each side of vehicle has 3 turn signal bulbs and the meter cluster bulb. When turned to right, does the bulbs flashes in tandem? How many bulbs are flashing?

3. Does brake pedal application affect anything?

4. To all above questions, what are the differences if only the tailghts are turned on? When headlights are turned on?
