Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 200k miles

I've been working on my Acura for a while and final got everything put back together and fix after changing the head gasket. Will I was changing the headgasket, rain for sure got in the oil system. I drained it , changed it, and changed it again. Just worring about water never think about possible debris. After sitting for month being worked on and bringging it back to life. I was driving and it started making a knocking noise I pulled over thinking somehow there was no oil there was. Got home... listened, inspected, and came to when I saw. Oil squirting on the camshafts for a bit then stopping then and the knocking noise started shortly after the oil stop coming out of little holes on the "u clamps?" that bolt the camshaft to the head. I don't know if it needs flushing or if it's even fixable. I'm almost at the point of wantinig to by a new engine but I have almost already replace all the parts when I change the head and head gasket. Any information would be useful at this point. thank you.

If enough debris got in maybe clogging oil pump pickup screen. Does oil flow after engine shut down for awhile?
