1991 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I have a hole in the wall on piston 4

its a jdm b18a1 integra motor and I was wondering how to fix it

can I just replace the bottom

can I just replace the head

Do I have to replace the whole engine

can I just have a certified mechanic fix the wall

I need answers as soon as possible please let me know if you can help at all

can I just replace the bottom . You might as well get a short block

alright so you are absolutely sure that I wont need to replace the head. I know you just told me to get a shortblock but I just want to be sure

You need to remove cylinder head to confrim if there are any major damages to it. A broken connecting rod can cause damages to the head too.

You cannot repair a hole iin the cylinder block.

How did you know that there's a hole on no.4 cylinder?

If you went thru the head you will know if there's damages there

can I just replace the bottom

can I just replace the head

To get there-you have to remove the head or the crankcase cover

Anyway to fix this fast-Get a new engine

yeah I took it to the mechanic and he said that there is a lack of compression in the bottom end and that there is a hole in the wall on piston 4. He didnt talk about any damage anywhere else he just explained that I would have to replace the bottom end.
