1991 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi,
My car showed the battery sign at the front thingi. It did not restart so i went ahead and changed the battery. Now, it restarted and ran fine but ithe battery sign is still flashing( as though it ran out). So was wondering why is the battery sign still flashing.
