1990 Acura Integra changing front struts

Are you going to be doing a complete strut? If not, then you will need a spring compressor.

Front struts are very easy.

Remove the two 12 or 14mm nuts from the strut towers (underneath the hood). Then remove the 14mm pinch bolt at the base of the shock absorber, followed by the 17mm bolt and nut that bolts the strut fork to the lower control arm.

Install in reverse order.
