My daughter's car is also a '90 Integra. I've not found a good solution for this one. I've tried lubricating the lock cyl etc without success.

Based on trying it, ti would seem that something in the interlock assy is sluggish due to temp, but I've not found that item even though I've partially had the column apart to look.
