1998 Acura CL shifting

my acura recently got where it would not go into any forward gear. i jacked the car up and checked the shifter cable, finding it intact itook it loose from the shifter as i moved it the car went into gear. it does'nt slip in any gear but goes out of gear at the shift points when i let off the gas it goes from first to third gear skips second then out again from third untill i let off then it goes into forth and pulls fine untill i come to a stop where it goes out of gear untill i put it in neutral then back to drive
