Blend door Actuator does not switch from air/heat to defrost?

My defrost only blows cold and when I try to change the vent knob it doesn't want to switch from air/heat to defrost and I don't have any heat.

Yep, this happens when the temperature mode actuator goes out here is the location which is under the dash on the driver side, you will need to remove the knee bolster so you can swap it out to fix the problem. Check out the images (below).
