Accidentally changed front diff and added ATF instead of Gear Oil

Could you please tell me what problems I may encounter after driving my truck in 4WD on ice for 500 miles with ATF in the front diff?

probably not a lot. just put the correct stuff in and then see if you hear anything normal I'd doubt you will.

I agree with HMAC300, here is how to change the differential oil and add the correct fluid to help you.

SAE 80W-90 GL5 Lubricant
