Does not move when attempting to accelerate

When I start the can, no problem, when I step on the gas there's no acceleration, the car just idles.

I just want to confirm the issue. When you step on the accelerator the RPMs do not respond at all? So, it is as if you are not stepping on the accelerator at all?

If this is the case, we need to start by checking for codes.

More than likely you have throttle body codes or other related codes.

If we try to go after this without knowing the codes or if there are no codes, then we will have a lot harder time figuring it out. Even knowing that there are no codes is good information.
