Vehicle constantly accelerates?

Hello, does the vehicle have a high RPMs at idle? It sounds like you have a very large vacuum leak. This vehicle has a mass air flow sensor so any air entering the engine besides where it is supposed to will be unmetered and will cause a high idle and feel like the vehicle is taking off on you without barely pressing the gas pedal. Has the check engine light come on at all? Start by checking for any cracked plastic or rubber hoses on the engine, you can also try spraying some water around the Intake Manifold gasket area and see if you hear the water being sucked into the engine by the engine vacuum. It will be a pretty loud noticeable noise. A spray bottle works, some other methods are using flammable liquids (Brake cleaner, etc.,) and seeing if it affects the idle condition by raising it. This must be done when the engine is cold.
