When I push the gas it spits and spudders and will almost die, it will go, but slowly. After getting it to move it spudders again. It seems like the the harder I push the truck to go faster the better it will run. My brother says I have water in the gas, but I am not so sure.

Draw off a fuel sample and see if there is any water or contaminants in it, check for blocked fuel filter and check for any fault codes, not all codes will set a check light.
