A/C still not working after CCRM replacement

Hello, I’m hoping that someone may be able to help. My A/C has been out since the beginning of the winter season. Because if this I chose not to repair the A/C during that time.

I have recently changed out the CCRM and the A/C clutch still will not engage.

Can someone please help me to understand where the ac switch/pressure switch is located?

I’m in no way a professional but figured I’d take a stab at it since it’s an older car.

We need to check power at the compressor. You should have 12 volts when the AC is commanded on. If you do not then we need to go back in the system to find the issue.

The next step would be the relay. We should have 12 volts on the blue black wire when the A/C is on. If you have this then the relay is the issue. If you do not then the PCM is not commanding the A/C on even though the button is turned on.

This means we need to check the high and low pressure switches.

However, this is all assuming you have the proper freon in the system. So before you go after the pressure switches, let's check to make sure the pressure is correct and is not low. If it is low then the system is doing what it is supposed to do and that is prevent the compressor from coming on when the pressure is too low.
