A/C not working on settings two and three

My son's car's A/C is working on speeds 1 and 4, but not on 2 and 3 most of the time. The fan works on all speeds.

Is the relay behind the glove box the issue or something else?

Hi,

Chances are the blower motor resistor is failing. It is located behind the glove box. If you look at the pic below, it provides the directions for the removal and replacement of the resister.

Take a look at the directions and let me know if you have questions.
