AC was blowing cold intermittently, this season. Now not at all. Purchased a AC pro cold charge canister. Turned on engine, turned AC on max, compressor will not engage/run. Hooked up charge hose, gauge on can was in the red/high pressure. Somewhere around 100 psi. What next?

A/C clutch will not turn until the low pressure (safety) switch is turned on by adding enough Freon to do so.

Most people on here will recommend using gauges or getting a qualified A/C guy to perform this whole task.

However, You like me, and so many others usually have a funds shortage and take their chances with repairs.

Beings that this is not really a safety drive-ability Fix, the most you could do is not have air conditioning in your vehicle.

Most likely, you are going to attempt it anyway.

So, with that,

I strongly recommend going to "YouTube" to an official type "A/C Pro" Video and watch it. Maybe a few times and maybe not just one of their videos!

I have watched 'em, if you stay with 'their program', and the only issue is "low on Freon" (not mechanical/ etc.), this most likely will fix you right up.

Let us know how it goes.

If it is not working out, you can convert to the A/C systems, like mine, shown in my pictures below.

Hello,

It sounds like you have enough pressure to turn the system on. I would start by checking the fuses and see if the compressor clutch is get power when the system is on also check the ac compressor relay.

Here are some guides and diagrams to help you get started:

Please run some tests and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.
