A/C not working on passenger side

What was the original issue? Was this doing the same thing or were both sides blowing hot?

I don't think it was an option on your vehicle but do you have dual temperature zones? Meaning you can adjust each side's temperature separate from each other. I am not seeing it as an option but I just want to make sure. Thanks

Yes, it's dual temperature control. You can adjust driver side to cold and passenger to hot. I replaced the blend door actuator but the passenger side still throws hot air even when you place it on dual or when you take off dual. You can move the vents to floor or defrost no problem. I just can't get A/C on passenger side. Tried taking the fuse out and waiting then turning the key and still the same. Initial problem was that the driver side had A/C and passenger side had heat.

Okay. You have two blend doors. One for each side. So when you say you replaced the actuator, was it the one on the passenger side? I attached the process just to confirm.

Yes, I replaced the passenger side blend door actuator, but still no A/C only heat. All vents move to floor or defrost no problem just not getting A/C in the passenger side.

Okay. So the blend door actuator is what controls the temperature of the air. The mode door actuator is what controls where it blows out (defrost/floor/vents) and the air inlet mode actuator controls if it is fresh air or recirculate. So you have separate actuators for each function. So when you say it moves positions okay but only blows hot, I am just concerned you are confusing door operation.

Also, can you take a look at the instructions I attached earlier and then this picture as well? The air inlet door actuator is behind the glove box as well as the passenger side blend door. Is it possible that you changed the wrong actuator?

If not, then remove the passenger side blend door actuator and plug it back in then change the temp on that side and see if the actuator moves. If it moves then either the door wasn't in the correct position when you installed it or the door is the issue. At that point, you can move the door with your fingers and see if the air temp changes.

Clearly with the actuator plugged in, set the temp to MAX cold or hot and which will move the actuator to that position, and then manually set the door to that position with your fingers and install the actuator. That will make sure they are synced up.
