My car's A/C compressor is rotate when I switch on the A/C but the inside vent is just blowing hot air and my A/C screen panel is blank which makes me unable to see if the A/C is on a cool or hot mode. Please how do I fix the problem with the screen panel and also the A/C to be blowing cool air inside?

Unfortunately, we may have two issues but one for sure. So we need to check the fuses to the HVAC unit but I suspect they are okay if the compressor comes on. This unit is what tells the compressor to come on so if that is working then it is just the display which means we need to replace the unit.

If the temperature is set to hot and you cannot adjust that then that would explain why it is blowing hot. However, once the unit is working again and it does not blow cold when set to cold temperature then we have a compressor or Freon issue.

Here is a guide that will help with that issue but we need to start with the HVAC control unit:

Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
