A/C stopped blowing cold air while driving and had a grinding noise. The grinding noise stopped but still have no cold air. I've checked the compressor clutch and it wasn't working but I could manually make the clutch engage from the fuse box. I added some refrigerant and the clutch will engage when the AC is turned on as it should but it doesn't disengage like it should and still no cold air blows. What is my next step in diagnosing the problem?

Good morning,

The next step is to get a set of gauges and take the readings of the high and low side. I need those readings to see if the system is working correctly.

Is the noise gone or did it come back?
