A/C squeals when idling. Checked and adjusted belt. No cracks in belt and feels like it has some grip (not slick).

Hello,
It sounds like the belt is glazed which will create the sound you are describing. Here is a guide to help you get the problem fixed and some diagrams (Below)

you may need to jack the car up.
