Air conditioner is blowing cold then it gets humid

Turn on the air conditioner and open the hood to see if the cooling fans are running. If they are not, this will result in the air conditioner not cooling and the engine overheating. Let me know the results. Thanks.

The fans are working and I let the car sit for twenty four hours, I checked the coolant and it was surprisingly low, the cooling system was done maybe a little over a thousand miles ago. there are no leaks of coolant anywhere and the coolant looks fine. I checked the oil dipstick for coolant and it is clean. We can drive the car without it overheating but we have to top the coolant off everyday. I am lost here.

Just to add this one the heavily overlooked cause of coolant loss and overheating. Is a bad radiator cap not holding the correct pressure. You will loose coolant and causes over heating. A lot of the time you won't even see the coolant leak. you can try replacing the radiator cap they are cheap. If that does not work it is best to do a coolant pressure test you could have a slow leak that you never see on the ground. Also there is coolant dye which you can use a dye light to find leaks.

Have a cooling system pressure test done. This "invisible" type leak is often the water pump. Many times it will only leak when the engine is at higher than idle rpm. So when driving it will leak, but idling there is no leak.
