AC High Port and Low Port location?

Thank you for your help, but unfortunately I did everything the guide said step by step. I use a vacuum and put a dye using the low port. There are no signs of leaks using my UV light. Few days ago I recharge the AC with 2 12oz cans of the Freon using the low port. It work for a while but today the air blow warm air and no feelings of coldness or changing of the air when I turn on to AC. This leads me to try the dye today to see if there is any leaks. As I mentioned above, there is no signs of leaks using my UV light. please help and thanks.

hope you leak checked it and evacuated the system because if you did not leak check it, it will all go out fast and it will not work again. it takes 1.12 lbs of R134.

several years ago the pulley on our AC compressor seized upand started making a terrible sound.we assumed that it was just a bad AC compressor and never used it again because we couldn't afford the compressor at the time. I didn't know as much about auto repair then as I do now. this morning I decided to go back over the a/c system and found that it was still full of refrigerant, so my question is will the AC system need to be evacuated and recharged if it's held pressure and hasn't been used for 3 years?

having sit that long does no harm to an a/c system as long as there is not a leak. However if the clutch was bad it may have been the compressor that was the problem. If the compressor is still good and you choose to replace the clutch, the charge has to be evacuated due to the clutch is what the seal presses against it's shaft. So you wil have ot see what the problem actually is first. Besides there still may be pressure but not enough to cool so you need to throw some gauges on it and run it to see what you have.

the friction material was toast, rubbing metal on metal. I'm just going to go ahead and evacuate, replace the compressor, accumulator/dryer and the orifice tube. Thanks for the help.

Unless you have a pressurized charging station, your not going to charge it through the high side at all. You can do it through the low side if you know how.

The air conditioner is charged but there is no cold air coming out.

Do you hear the compressor engages if so the problem is coming from the HVAC unit. if not could be the clutch, relay and pressure switch

The low pressure port is under the wheel well on the passenger side, towards the front, The high pressure is coming right out the top of condenser on drivers side, when you open the hood.

They are located under the passenger side wheel well. Open the flap between the tire and engine...and viola there they are.
And Yes I know, Ford sucks...I have a 2002 focus and having all sorts of probs.

I cant seem to locate the blue or black cap to fill my a/c unit?
