A/C compressor not engaging

There was a leak in the system, now trying to refill, but can't get compressor to run to fill it. I imagine low pressure switch is keeping it off.

You must have an ambient amount of refrigerant inside the system, so the low side switch is triggered. This video should be able to help you:
