AC compressor and dryer accumulator replacement and location

Should I replace the dryer receiver accumulator when I replace the AC compressor. The compressor was replaced two years ago and has failed again. Also, where is the accumulator located?

Yes, if you open the system, you must replace the dryer. Otherwise moisture will enter the system and the system will not work correctly.
