my A/C was working okay, it just wasn't cold enough. so I added r134a and it had a gauge on it and I followed the directions to the tee .I kept my eye on the gauge and it never got close to the danger zone. the HVAC system took the freon and it worked perfectly fine for two or three days and then it blows hot air compressor is not cycling on at all. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction please and thank you.

Description sounds like you have a leak that let the 134A out. Time to look the system over and see where it is.

This might give you some ideas to try:

It sounds like you have leak. The low pressure switch will prevent the compressor from coming on when it is low. I would recharge the system again, but this time use Freon with UV dye in it. This will help determine where your leak may be. Using a UV or black light you can look around some common areas that leak, which will glow with the the light. Check around your ac lines, compressor, condenser and fittings.
