A.c. Cold air on passenger side hot on the driver side?

Yep, this is common when the driver side temperature blend door actuator goes out. Here is its location so you can swap it out. Here is how to reset the system after the repairs are done.

Alright thank you. I tried to sinc the actuators but it didn't seem to work. Do you have any idea how much the part costs? Maybe? I suppose I have to remove the plastics under the. Steering wheel. Do you have any advise as to where the fasteners are located. I have the one peice dangling but I don't see where the vent is connected.

You are welcome, the part seems to cost between $65.00 and $110.00 depending on the brand. Once the blend door goes bad it cannot be recalibrated.

How can I turn on ignition on my push button ignition?

With your foot off the brake, press the START/STOP button once, the system will turn on.

Yes, you can move the blend door pivot to make sure the blend door inside the HVAC plenum works. The actuator in question location is in the images above.

Is the one I will be replacing? I understood it to be other passenger side of my vehicle.

I' apologize for bothering you so much . But I think I may need to telltale when I was trying to sync the climate control the temps did change on the riverside and passengerside. But only the passengetside would blow cold and get hot.

Do you have any insight to share with me as to how to get all of the plastics out that are helping to hold the glove box in it's hole??

Well that's great... i don't need to take the plastics and glove box out if the actuator is on the driver side. I won't have to take anything apart. The actuator is in plain site. I think one of the guides I received said it was on the passenger side. Oh well I will have the part tomorrow and I will be in touch. Thanks

You wont be able to see it, you must listen for the action inside the HVAC plenum.

I'm just trying to get to the actuator to replace it.its above the heater vent

My car has climate control. Driver side hot passenger side coldish. Found the actuator on riverside and it seems ok because I could see the gear moving as I cycled the temp control. Do I need to get the system cleaned and recharged? Please advise.
