So my low refrigerant A/C off light came on last week.. I got a recharge worked great! Well it was chilly for 2 days so I put the heat on notice that it was blowing cold on the passenger side and warm on the driver side. Now when it heated back up I noticed it was still blown warm so I got an A/C actuator it didn’t change anything. I popped the hood also to notice I believe my A/C clutch is not turning. Would the clutch stop the A/C compressor from turning on.

Good afternoon,

Chances are you have a leak in the Freon system and the Freon leaked out.

I would have some dye installed in the system to determine the leak.

I also attached a wiring diagram for you to view in case there is Freon in the system so we can do some checks.

It have a leak but it’s more then enough in it to keep the system working.. so far I took my fuel pump relay put it in where the A/C compressor relay goes it still didn’t come on. I then jumped it with a wire and it came on.. Auto part store said it maybe my cut off switch. But a friend of my say it’s not a cut off switch that it can be the control panel..

Okay, I sent you a diagram. We are not going to guess here. We are going to find the failure.

First, I need you to remove the relay and turn the key on and the A/C. Test for power to the relay. There should be 2 powers present in the relay cavity.

Also, do you have gauges to give me the pressures?

How would I know if it gets power. Do I need a test light?

Yes, you need a test light to test for power.
