The A/C compressor failed, as a result I replaced the expansion valve, the A/C compressor and the condenser with dryer. I drew a vacuum and left it for over an hour, all seemed fine. I then recharged the system but was not happy with the way the 134a was drawn into the system. From the manifold gauges the low side registers 35 lbx and the high side just under 200.
The problem is that the A/C is only blowing cool and not cold, additionally when I took it for a test drive there was an occasional squeaking noise that seems to be related to the A/C system. It sounds similar to the noise the old compressor made before it ceased working. I am very impressed that you are making yourselves available and hope that you can help me with this issue.
