ABS and VSC warning lights on, car will not shift out of Park

This means you have ABS brake system trouble codes stored in your vehicles computer. First thing I suggest is to have the code(s) checked.If you don't have access to a code reader/scanner your local auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one.Usually Autozone will scan codes for free. It sounds like you have a bearing hub going out which will cause the sensor to stop working causing the ABS light to come on. To see which on it is here is a video to show you how to test it:

I found the shifter lock override button and was able get the transmission out of Park and move the vehicle.

The AutoZone store near me said their diagnostic only applies to Check Engine light. In our chase the Check Engine light is not on, so their free scan tool wouldn't apply.
To see ABS codes they said I would need to purchase a $253.00 scanner. Which scanner were you using in your YouTube video and how much did that cost?

Regarding the Wheel Hub Bearings, we did not hear any abnormal noises coming from any of the wheels in all the driving we did over the last several days. We went round trip from San Jose, CA to Portland, OR (1,400 miles round trip) over several mountain passes up to 4,300 feet, rain and snow at speeds up to 75 mph and the car worked fine. It wasn't until the next day after the car sat overnight that we experienced the ABS and VSC error.

I don't recall ever having the Wheel Hub Bearings replaced or repacked but we did have the Power Steering rack replaced at 72,000 miles. Nothing in the paperwork specifically indicates the wheel bearings were serviced. This is an AWD model so wouldn't that have been a pretty costly job ? (especially at a Toyota dealer)

I don't know if this could be related but last month we did experience a check engine problem on another road trip. The error code was P0430-Catalyst System Efficiency Below threshold (Bank 2) which we remedied with a single treatment of Cataclean.

Yes, a scanner/code reader to check those codes have to have ABS (anti-lock brake) capabilities. Most inexpensive code readers at your local auto parts stores like Actron brand are $40.00 and will only read check engine light codes. Using an OBD2, I was able to pull the following codes from the vehicle:

P0504 Brake Switch "A"/"B" Correlation
C1223 ABS Control System Malfunction
C1246 Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor
C1249 Open Circuit in Stop Light Switch Circuit
C2106 Stop on Fail

The Check Engine light is not on, just the ABS and VSC.

Would battery condition show up in an OBD scan?
So far no trouble starting the engine and no visible corrosion on terminals or battery case defect.

Sometimes the battery will show up. You need to load test it. Did you follow the guide above? Next, please clear the codes then without driving it start the engine and run the codes again. This will tell us which code is the most prevalent. How is the brake pedal, good?

Performed Load Test. Left headlights on for fifteen minutes. Car started up fine, lights didn't dim, no clicking.

The rear brake lights are not working.
The white reverse light and rear turn signal indicators do work.

Good work, there are to relays that need to be checked (VSC fail, VSC motor). here is a guide to help you check them and the relay locations along with the ABS wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works:
