ABS module

Does it require a computer to fix the ABS module in my truck? I have lost full compression, but last week. It would decompress then make a noise and then it would decompress again. So i am certain the module is out. Someone said i need a computer to replace the module. Is that true?

For the symptoms you are describing, the problem is not due to a faulty module, more likely a fault with the pump itself. For some vehicle, the control module and pump comes as a complete assembly.

Pump what pump would I have to replace? I have replaced the calipers, wheelbarrings, and the master cylinder .
