ABS light came on and took it to two garages which said it was the ABS unit. Had the unit taken off and sent it to be repaired/tested. It came back as no faults with the unit.

Hi,

First, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

most commonly, the ABS light will come on when a wheel speed sensor fails. Have they been checked? That is where I would start. Also, before the module was removed and sent for repair, diagnostic trouble codes should have been checked. That could have indicated if it was a sensor or other component.

At this point, I would suggest checking wheel speed sensors. It can be done with a live data scanner or manually. Here is a link that shows how it is done:

I would also like to point out that most vehicles' abs modules are fused, so check for a blown fuse as well.

Let me know what you find.
