Causes for ABS light to stay on?

Hi,

There are many reasons. Could be a speed sensor to the module itself or just a fluid issue.

We need to get the codes out of the module and that will point us in the right direction.

Here is a video that explains this a little more. Just make sure the code reader can pull codes from the ABS or it will return none.

How do we know if ABS is brakes or airbag? Is it same light that cones on? I am confused..

I don't have a camera phone. light is orange and says ABS stays on.

Okay. If it says ABS then that is the Anti Lock Brake system. Let's get the codes that it has in the module and we will be able to figure this out. If you don't have a code reader then most parts stores have them and will do it for free. Just make sure their tool can read ABS as well. Thanks

You are welcome. Please let me know what you find and if they try to tell you there are no codes then most likely they cannot read ABS codes because if the light is on there are codes to go with it. Thanks. We will wait to hear back.
