Checked resistance values at both connectors and main plug where it installs in module, resistance reads 960 ohms. I checked for shorted wire none, both left and right sides front read the same. I tried spinning the wheel but I could not get it to go fast enough. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Good afternoon.

Did you check the rears as well?
When you spin the wheel, check for any AC voltage on your meter.

there are other possible failures other than the sensors. Do you have a scan tool to read the fault code?

Hello Roy, I did not receive my scanner yet, but I checked all the ABS sensors again. left front 1069, right front,1059, left rear 1061, right rear,1059. Henry (the only repair I made I soldered the left front and right front cables and these are the resistance readings).

Hello Roy, we spoke about this issue prior and I did receive my scanner. I had to install the software in the autel ml619. I am confused now at one point the scanner says control 1 and then it says cannot connect and battery may not be charged and check connection. the techs are not in today because of bad weather. what is your opinion about control 1? Thanks, Henry

If you are continuing a previous conversation, you need to reply to the link you got in the automated e-mails. No one else knows what is going on or the previous history. If you cannot find your way back to your original post, reply back here with the user name of who you were working with and I will see if I can get the two of you back together.

Hello Roy, just wanted to update you. this is my third scanner I had to return because it was unable to read the ABS on a four wheel drive truck. Innova 3140g. before I ordered these obd2 readers I called the companies up to confirm it will read a four wheel drive
and now I just called up Innova and they said they have no obd2 that can read four wheel drive. I now have to research another one, really sickening these people do not know what they are talking about. Henry

Hello Roy, I wanted to update you,I decided to bring my truck to two repair shops, they had snap testers, when they plugged in the connector both shops came up with the same message, could not communicate. one shop tried grounding one terminal and he said he could not get the ABS light to even flash. any suggestions? Thanks, Henry

Good afternoon.

Okay, is the scan tool he is using able to monitor the ABS? Some scan tools do not have that availability.

Okay, he needs to verify powers and grounds to the ABS module. if he has these then the module is the issue. it is not allowing anything to access it.

okay.
If you replace with a used one, it will have to be flashed to your truck.

Hello Roy,

I am assuming the abs actuator has a high psi stored,if so how would I bleed off that high pressure?

Only line pressure here, ABS has an internal pump, that activates when the system is required, what is the actual problem you have?

there should be no pressure in the system, just take normal precautions when opening any hydraulic system.

Hello Roy,
I wanted to update you on this issue. I located and bought a used module and installed, (I did not flash the module). still the same issue, light will not go out. I bought the Bluedriver OBD2 and it says no pending ABS codes. I tried clearing the light with this unit still no good.
Do you know where pin 44 connects to? I figured I would track that down to another connector because it only has 7.4 volts. any other suggestions? thanks, Henry

Goes to the ABS light in the cluster.

The light may be on from the flash not being done as well.
