ABS sensor removal and installation

How do you remove and replace the left rear ABS sensor? where and how do you unplug it? Thanks.Oh, by the way all the help you’ve given me in the past has been spot on.Thank you so much.

Good morning,

I assume your ABS light is on from this request. When you complete the job, drive the car. If your repair is successful the light will turn itself off at 8 MPH. That is a confirmation of the repair. No need to reset the light.

1. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR
a. Remove the front wheel and front fender liner.
b. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR
a. Remove the bolt, flexible hose and speed sensor harness clamp from the shock absorber.
Torque: 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft. lbs.)
b. Remove the resin clip from the shock absorber.
c. Remove the bolt and speed sensor harness clamp to the body.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.)
d. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.)

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
AFTER INSTALLATION, CHECK SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL

Okay, I could not find the connector diagram and location. The sensor does go through the body and into the body. See if it goes into the trunk area or the rear seat area.
