ABS light on?

The problem is when applying the brake over slightly rough terrain (bumpy road) the front wheels start to shudder, we lose breaks altogether, ABS lights up, the car will not stop, until I lift off the pedal and reapply it. My son rear-ended another vehicle due to this. I'm sure it's the ABS Impulse ring differs from the original, it came from the OEM agent. Cheers, Steve

I would agree that it sounds like the ABS is activating so we need to start with checking for codes.

If the wheel speed sensor rings are not correct then we will have some codes that tell us we have a wheel speed sensor issue.

It sounds like you may have a wheel speed sensor that is out. These videos will help us find the problem.
