My van's ABS harness is damaged from heat. There are many variations of harnesses, all discontinued.

1F2Z-14290-AA
1F2Z-14290-BA
1F2Z-14290-CA
1F2Z-14290-DA
My VIN requires the -CA according to Ford. I found a junk yard -DA, can I modify or use that harness? Are there any schematics of the harness variants?

Good morning,

You cannot modify the harness. The wires are so small, you cannot use any connectors or solder to join them together.

Is this the entire ABS harness or is it for a particular wheel?

I attached a diagram for you.

Thank you very much for the drawings. I think that diagram is just part of the engine harness, which connects to the ABS computer, wheel sensors, and also to the master cylinder pressure switch, and PCM communication. I think it is called Engine Wire Harness and is a little different depending on trim and options. Sample image attached. Maybe there is no diagram for it. The part is discontinued by Ford.

It is part of the engine harness. I found many used engine harnesses but they do not identify part numbers.

What is wrong with the harness?

The harness burned for about 12-18 inches from the ABS controller. Different trim levels have slightly different harnesses, example wo/traction control, corner lamps, power group, describes my LX. Not sure description is complete. If you find a diagram for the harness itself, that would be useful, otherwise this weekend I can get a detailed look. That ABS diagram is a big help too.

Open the harness and send me pictures. Let me see how bad the damage is.
