Hello,

Please remove the serpentine belt and then start the engine to see if the noise is still there. If so take a video of the noise with your phone and upload it in your relay so I can hear what is going on.

Here is a guide that will give you an idea of how to remove the belt.

Please run down this guide and report back.

Cheers, Ken

This is the noise it makes after the key is turning off motor. The second video play's better it sounds loud running because I laid the phone on the tire as I cut off the engine to record the sound. Thanks.

Thanks for the videos they really help. Was that with the serpentine belt off the engine? If so I would say the starter is no good and not retracting the pinon gear away from the flex plate. Can you tell if the noise is coming from between the engine and transmission?

The serpentine belt is on and it sounds like it is coming from the front right side near the tire. I am going to get the equipment to take off the serpentine belt when my cousin gets back into town. Thanks Ken.

Hello ken, I took off the right front tire and splash guard to take off the serpentine belt and low and behold my breaker bar nor socket wrench would not fit between the frame and pulley. So I put everything back on I need a serpentine wrench after I come across one I will remove that belt. You have a good labor day weekend sir.

Sounds good you do the same. I would remove the starter just to check to see if the pinon gear just flops around and is not held is the starter. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when removing the starter for inspection and diagrams below to show you on your car:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
