A/C compressor bypass

Want to remove A/C compressor and do not know which way would be correct: bypass pulley or simply using shorter belt?

Good morning.

The correct way is to use a bypass pulley to keep the correct belt routing.

Trying to use a shorter belt causes a routing issue and they did not make a belt for no AC systems.

Hi,
Thank you for quick answer. You are right to substitute with a pulley is the best natural way, however have trouble with locating correct one for my car. Also, there is a belt without air conditioning. Here are the pictures (first-1570mm long and second-1450mm long). What do you think?

I attached the belt from rock auto and the 570 is the one for no AC.

I thought everything came with AC these days.

Cannot use it. It is for Aveo and Aveo5 up to 2010. My is Aveo5 2011. Sorry for confusion but when initiating question did not have choice for Aveo5 just Aveo. My pictures also came from Rockauto.

Okay, good. I see no information on my information systems for the 5 model.

I would try both belts and see which one fits.
