A/c compressor

Compressor wont start and the climate control panel light is blinking. Tried to jump the connection and it works but the climate control panel still blinking. What is the possible cause? Good day, attached photo below is the climate control panel. The two arrows in pink color represents the two indicator lights working when the ac is on. The one on the center knob is the one blinking.
