A/C blows hot in extreme outside temperatures?

The A/C blows cold when outside temperatures are below 90 degrees. About 90 it blows hot air. The cabin filter was just changed, and the compressor was replaced a year ago. It has about 106,000 miles. Sometimes when I first start it and drive, if I gun the motor (speed up really quick) the air will start getting really cold on high speed.

It sounds like the system is low on refrigerant. Here is a video to show you how to change it and I have included the location of the A/C system charge port to help you get the job done:
